“STRANGER THINGS” RETURNS IN 2 MONTHS: HERE’S WHY THE SHOW IS ENDING WITH SEASON 5

The long wait for the return of Stranger Things is almost over, with Stranger Things 4 coming to Netflix on May 27.

Stranger Things 4 is being broken up in two parts, with Volume 2 following on July 1st, 2022. Beyond that, we know that Stranger Things is ending with Season 5.

So why are we only getting two more seasons? Speaking with Screen Rant, producer Shawn Levy explains the decision behind ending Stranger Things with 5 total seasons. “Well, we never wanted to run on fumes and we wanted to only tell as much story as the brothers saw and feel with clarity,” Levy tells Screen Rant, echoing similar comments make by creators Matt and Ross Duffer over the years. It’s been clear for a while that they know exactly where they were headed in the arc of Stranger Things.

We can’t wait for Season 4, which will undoubtedly be the biggest and most frightening season yet!
